A few days ago, some members of the Kechara Board of Directors and the pastors took a walk on the wild side. I thought I would share a couple of pictures here.

Would you believe that this land is right in the middle of the city? I would not have, if I had not seen it with my own eyes! The amazing canopy trees, the dense undergrowth, sunlight filtering through the leaves…

After JP gave us a walk-through of the land, we had a short meeting to discuss some further developments for Kechara Forest Retreat.

It was a fun day out! We talked about ideas for Kechara’s future, about projects we would like to accomplish in the upcoming months, and discussed some messages and advice that Rinpoche had for us.

Kechara is my home and will be the home of many others in the future so it is a great honour and privilege that I get to be involved in its development.

And you can be involved too! We are on the cusp of something great, we are on the cusp of our next push forwards so please, do get on board and see how you can lend a helping hand. If you have ever benefited from Rinpoche’s teachings, from Rinpoche’s kindness, from any of the activities and departments that Rinpoche has set up, now is your time to give back and pay the love forwards!
