Day 55: Gift of healing

I’d just come out of the hospital after spending nearly two months there, and this was my first outing with Rinpoche after I’d been discharged. Who knew a “routine” laparoscopic appendisectomy could lead to so many problems? If it weren’t for the 100 days of healing retreat Rinpoche prescribed for me, I think I might’ve been sick for much longer.
