Just a couple of videos that have really moved me. I’m so impressed by these campaigns and how evocative they are. It’s just sad that some don’t have the viewership that they deserve.

With 7 billion people (and growing!), human suffering comes in such a variety of forms (84,000 according to the Buddha) that there are SO many causes out there that you can lend a hand in. Don’t just be a bystander in the human experience, get involved! Jump in and help those who haven’t had the same privileges as you, and defend those who do not have a voice.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

– Edmund Burke

Emancipation of the slaves? Someone spoke up. Women gaining the right to vote? Someone spoke up. End of apartheid? Someone spoke up.

So get off your couch, speak up and stand for something because nothing good in this world ever came about when people just stood by watching.
